Washington: A Meridian of Artistic Modernity in the Americas, Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Art Museum of the Americas
The curatorial proposal establishes a dual narrative—convergent and intertwined—within the exhibition spaces. On one hand, it highlights various facets of Latin American art found in the collections of the Art Museum of the Americas (AMA) to celebrate its 50th anniversary.

It's OAS Night at Blues Alley! Continue celebrating the Art Museum of the Americas' 50th Anniversary. Singer and songwriter is happy to be returning to DC's legendary jazz club with a new collection of songs, just before taking them into the studio for his next album. It will be a night for him to sing about "people with names, places with stories, journeys across borders, and the many colors of Brazilian culture. Nos vemos em breve!

OAS Landmark Headquarters, Underground Mural, and Art Museum of the Americas
FAMA offers one-and-a-half hour guided tours to FAMA Members. They are led by former OAS diplomat and AMA director Pablo Zuñiga and include the Organization of American States (OAS) National Historic Landmark Building, the "Roots of Peace" underground mural, painted in 1960 by Uruguayan artist Carlos Páez Vilaró (1923-2014), and the Art Museum of the Americas.
