A Force of Nature: Studio Visit
with Artist Freya Grand 2023

Join us in Freya’s studio near Dupont Circle on Sunday, April 16, 2-4 pm, within easy walking distance of the Metro.

Over wine and refreshments, DC-based artist Freya Grand will reveal her fascinating artistic process–from field to studio to gallery–as she shows us her dramatic journals, sketches, and full-blown landscapes originating in Latin America, plus her most recent work inspired by the Drakensberg Mountains in South Africa! Fine art professional and Art Museum of the Americas guest curator Hilary Pierce Hatfield will recall “DIALOG: Landscape and Abstraction | Freya Grand and AMA’s Permanent Collection,” presented for the 50th anniversary of Earth Day in 2020. Every participant will receive an exhibition catalog!
