Sonia Cavallo Runde is an economist, diplomat, and academic with extensive experience in international development and public policy across the Americas. She was Argentina’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the Organization of American States (OAS). She is a co-founder of CIPPEC, one of Argentina’s leading public policy think tanks, and has taught graduate courses on development policy at The Catholic University of America. Sonia studied economics at Universidad de San Andrés and public policy at Harvard Kennedy School. She has served on nonprofit and educational boards, including the board of the Escuela Argentina de Washington. An amateur artist, she enjoys porcelain painting and oil painting, and values the role of the Art Museum of the Americas in fostering cultural exchange across the hemisphere. She lives in McLean, Virginia. |
